Leslie Marinus Damker, Sr., 87, of Salina, passed away Saturday, May 18th, 2019.
Leslie was born in Rural Downs, Kansas on July 22, 1931, a son of the late Nellie (Zachgo) and Marinus T. Damker.
He served in the United States Army.
Les worked as the warehouse supervisor at Salina Concrete and a route drive at Jo-Mar Dairy, Salina.
Survivors include three daughters, Susan DeBaere, (Jim), of Falun, Kansas, Sondra Hartwick, of Andover, Kansas, Sheila Ward, (Michael), of Salina, Kansas; and son, Leslie Damker, Jr., of Salina, Kansas. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Damker; sisters, Helen Maupin, Donna Gooden; brother, Dale Damker
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 22, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Carlson – Geisendorf Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 23rd, at Vesper Cemetery, Vesper, Kansas.
