Linda K. Cox (Burns) was born August 18th, 1948 on a farm in Morris County near Burdick, Kansas to Bob and Evelyn Burns and passed away, Wednesday, May 26th, 2021.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dan; sister and brother-in-law, Georgia and Larry Conner; brother, Gene Burns.
Survivors include her daughter, Dana Cox, of Bel Aire, Kansas; son, Rick Cox (Jennifer), of Hesston, Kansas and grandchildren, Shane Schoenhofer (Jena), Taylor Marcoux (Jonathan), Cameron Cox, Brady Cox, and Brett Cox; great granddaughter, Adeline; sisters, Lou Thompson (John) of Azle, Texas, Coleen Anderes (Lyle) of Salina, Kansas, Dorothy Goodwin (Steve), of Salina, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews.
Linda attended school in Burdick, Herington, and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1967. Linda graduated from Nursing School and was the head of the Rehab Unit at Bethany Home, worked the Rehab floor at Penn Campus and was a Red Cross Nurse.
There will not be a visitation and the casket will remain closed.
Burial will be private.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 3rd at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Salina, Kansas
