Lois Maxine Fahring, 93, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019.
Lois was born in rural Kansas on June 10, 1926, a daughter of the late Edna Marie (Crowther) and Robert Wendell Morrison.
She married Philo Fahring on June 11, 1946. Lois and Philo traveled many years and loved their campers. There were also many weekends of boating and camping at Lake Kanopolis and Lake Wilson. Together they enjoyed working in their flower and vegetable gardens. Lois worked at NBA and worked her way up to Senior Vice President as Head of Operations. She retired in 1980.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna J. Young (Royce), of Salina, Kansas; grandsons, Jeffrey R. Belton (Beth) of Overland Park, Kansas and Todd Fahring (Maci) of Cumming, Georgia; granddaughter, Ivy L. Hutson (Chris) of Overland Park, Kansas; daughter in law, Dianne Fahring of Johns Creek, Georgia; and sister in law, Lonelva Morrison.
She is also survived by great grandchildren, Carter Belton, Will Belton, Thea Melvin, Allyn Fahring, Hollis Fahring, Reid Fahring, Weslee Fahring, Kennedy Hutson, and Duncan Hutson
She is preceded in death by her husband, Philo; son, Alan; and one sister and two brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 3rd at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio Street, Salina, Kansas.
Inurnment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Salina.
Memorials may be made to Alan L. Fahring Endowed Scholarship Fund at Kansas Wesleyan University, sent in care of the funeral home.
