Lois J. Nichols, 92, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023. She was born September 29, 1931 to Elmer and Georgia (Houska) Jordan in Claflin, KS.

Lois married Wayne Nichols in 1954. Lois loved cooking, crocheting and embroidery. She and Wayne enjoyed many years of travel in retirement.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers, Robert Jordan and Cliff Jordan and sister Mae Ecton.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharolynn Knox (Kenneth), and Sondra McGee (Jim); grandchildren Jeremy and Colby Knox; Lindsay Lorson (Kevin) and Lauren McGee.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Ryan Mortuary. Graveside Service will be Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salina Animal Services and sent in care of Ryan Mortuary.
