Marilyn Kay (Zerfas) Furbeck, 69, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018. Marilyn was born on September 30, 1948, at St. Anthony Hospital in Hays, KS, to Walter “Walt” and Elizabeth “Liz” Zerfas.
She is survived by her husband, of the home, Alvie; daughter, Lisa Furbeck; son, Sean Furbeck (Kim); sisters, Patricia “Pat” Bieker of Ellis, KS, and Beverly “Bev” (Lewis) Meadows of Kentucky; and brother, Terry (Cindy) of Ellis. Grandchildren; Steven Furbeck and Mackenzie (Kenzie) Furbeck, both of Salina.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents and brother, Gary.
During her lifetime Marilyn lived in Oceanside, CA, Ellis, KS, Oakley, KS, Chanute, KS, Garden City, KS, and Salina.
She was a mother, grandmother, wife, and business owner of PDQ Emergency Products for twenty-nine years.
A private family graveside service will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Ellis. There will be no visitation.
