Mary Agnes Copp, 61, of Nickerson, Kansas, passed away at 12:45 p.m., Saturday, October 6th, 2018 while in the company of family members, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.

Mary was born in Hays, Kansas on September 3, 1957, a daughter of Lidwina (Pfannenstiel) and Lucas J. Copp.

Mary attended Gorham Elementary School and Gorham High School, Gorham, Kansas and graduated in 1976. Mary then attended Sidney’s Cosmetology School, Hutchinson, Kansas.

Through the years Mary worked as a cosmetologist for Snip and Clip in Hays, Kansas, worked in food service for U.S.D. 308 and for Brookdale Nursing Home, Hutchinson, Kansas.

Mary was a member of Lady of Guadalupe

Mary enjoyed her cats, spending time with her family and enjoyed life to the fullest.

She is survived by her partner Bill Green, Nickerson, Kansas; her daughter Danielle Walker, of Wichita, Kansas; her siblings Leroy Copp and his wife Rita, of Wichita, Kansas; James Copp, of Beloit, Kansas; Dennis Copp and his wife Pamela, of Wichita, Kansas; Judy Dinges and her husband Bill, of Silver Springs, Maryland; Diane Copp and her significant other Rudy, of Alamo, California and Michael Copp and his significant other Tammy Raddatz, of McPherson, Kansas.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Ronald Copp and sisters Carolyn Copp and Jannette Gabel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, McPherson, Kansas, with Fr. Ben Shockey officiating.

A private family burial will be at Gorham Cemetery, Gorham, Kansas at a later date
