SALINA – Mary Jean (Kline) Millikin, 94, passed away on June 3, 2022, at her home of 64 years in Salina, surrounded by her family.
Mary Jean was born in Salina, to Albert and Pearl Kline on March 25, 1928. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Earl Millikin; son, John Thomas Millikin; her parents; two sisters; and her brother.
Mary Jean graduated from Salina High School and attended one year at Kansas Wesleyan University where she met her husband, Tom Millikin. They were married for 54 years. They had three children, John Millikin, and twins Judy and Joan Millikin.
Mary Jean worked out of her home as a seamstress for many years. She worked at the Quilting Bee after her husband retired. She enjoyed sewing, weaving, spinning, painting, photography, and ceramics; but most of all spending time with her family.
Survivors include daughters, Judy Labbe (Ron Werth) and Joan Justice; grandchildren, Jenna Viscomi and Beth Yost (Jonathan) and great-grandchildren, Jake Viscomi, Ryan Viscomi, Wyatt Yost and Luke Yost.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 10:00 at Elmwood Cemetery in Lindsborg, Kansas. Those that knew and loved Mary Jean are invited to attend.
