Maryetta Ruth Gill, 79, of Salina, Kansas, went home to be with the Lord Monday, May 27th, 2019.

Maryetta was born in Salina, Kansas on December 9, 1939. She was a gardner, homemaker, and loved to cook and camp.

Survivors include a daughter, Terese Gill; son, Jeff Gill (Roxane) of Lindsborg; sister, Jolene Clark; brother, Randy D. Moffet (Chrissie); grandchildren, Danny and Kelly Verhoeff, Tyler and Trevor Gill; and nieces, Abby McFadden (Brad), Amy Harris, and Brandi Mator (Will).

She is preceded in death by her husband Jack of 54 years; her father Alva O. Hoyt; her parents Theada C. and Roy E. Moffet; a baby sister, Sandra Sue; uncles, David and Leo Moffet; and aunts, Gracie Kisick, Ida Mae, and Alice.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 30th from 1:00 to 8:00 pm at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio Street, Salina, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

Funeral service will be Friday, May 31 at 11:00 am at the funeral home, with Pastor Gene Davis officiating.

Burial will follow at Gypsum Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church, sent in care of the funeral home.
