Michael Gene Reinecker, the son of Gene Hayden and Joan Lee (Edwards) Reinecker, was born March 25, 1958 in McPherson, Kansas.  He was one of six children born to this union, four daughters and two sons, Cynthia, Pam, Deb, Rick, Mike, and Janee’.  He attended the Roosevelt grade school, Park School, McPherson Junior High and graduated from McPherson High School, McPherson< Kansas in 1976.

Mike resided in Wichita, Kansas Florida, California, Colorado, and Arizona and always made friends where ever he was.   He was of the Catholic faith.

Michael Gene Reinecker 59, of Phoenix, Arizona died on December 6, 2017 in Phoenix after a long illness.  He was preceded in death by his mother Joan Lee Reinecker; a sister Cynthia Lynn Reinecker, and a nephew Jason Orth.

Surviving family members include his father Gene H. Reinecker of McPherson, Kansas; siblings, Pam Washburn and husband Bill of Hutchinson, Kansas, Deb Orth and husband Dave of McPherson, Kansas, Rick Reinecker of Wichita, Kansas, and Janee’ Doll of Richfield Wisconsin; a special friend Jeff Weimer of Phoenix, Arizona;  many nieces and nephews other relatives and a host of friends.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the McPherson Cemetery, McPherson, Kansas with Pastor Chris Whitacre officiating.
