Mickey Lynn Tannehill passed away on May 6th, 2021 at the age of 76, in Salina, Kansas.
Mickey was born November 14th, 1944, in Beaver, Oklahoma, to Billie and Charles Ware. She was a graduate of Tyrone High School in Tyrone, Oklahoma. Mickey moved to the Kansas City area where she spent her career working at Victor L. Phillips in the accounts receivable department. She enjoyed her trips to the casino with her family and friends. Mickey was always fond of family meals, making sure there was something for everyone on the menu. She spent her retirement years closely following her favorite politicians and was always happy to share her enthusiasm with others. Always known for her quick wit, Mickey was the first to make the crowd laugh.
Mickey was preceded in death by her parents Billie and Charles Ware; husband, Bill Tannehill; sister, Sherri Ware; brother, Darrell Ware; and nephew, Mark Ware. Mickey will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Nicole and her husband John Louthain; sister, Rita and her husband Robert Protzman; brother, Gary and Becky Ware; grandchildren, Robert and his wife Nicole, Ashley, Ryan, and Brooke; great grandchild, Katarina; as well as nieces and nephews, Shannon and husband Paul, Chris and wife Lisa, Andrea, Greg and his wife Brenda, Jamie and her husband Ric, Ty, Brandon and his wife Jessica, Bryan and his wife Thao, and Alex. Mickey had many other friends and family that will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Gladstone Missouri on Wednesday May 12th, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Graveside services will follow at the same location at 11:00a.m.
