Nancy A. Tangye, 73, of Salina passed away Saturday July 29, 2023.  She was born January 8, 1950 in Smith Center, KS to Frederick E. Bargman and Phyllis J. (Rudolph) Bargman.

She married Harold D. Tangye on June 7, 1970, in Smith Center, KS.

She enjoyed being home with her three kids as well as working many different part time jobs and volunteering at many different places. She was a devoted member of Grace Baptist Church and volunteered in the nursery for many years. Nancy and Harold helped with the church bus ministry at Grace.  She played the piano at different nursing homes for the residents. She volunteered at the Salina Regional Hospital in the gift shop.  She loved to travel with her family and attend her grandkids’ activities.

Left to mourn her passing are her children, Edward (Pamela) Tangye, of Salina, Christopher (Jennifer) Tangye, of Topeka, and April (Andy) McGee, of Salina;  brother Rick Bargman of Smith Center and sister Mary Sassman of Smith Center and many grandchildren, Christian, Tyler and Macie Tangye, and Brandon, Brooke, Brent, Tayten, Phillip, and Easton McGee.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Frederick Bargman, Phyllis Bargman and her husband Harold Tangye.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday August 4th at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Parnell officiating.
