Nellie L. (Seifert) Korbel, 93, of Salina, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023.  She was born July 3, 1930, in Anthony, Kansas to Harry Delbert and Opal Iola (Bohnert) Seifert.  She married Lawrence H Korbel on April 1, 1949 in Hutchinson.  Throughout the years, Nellie was employed in Wichita for the Coleman Company, Murdock Machine,  Engineering Company and was a homemaker.  In her spare time, she loved being outdoors, camping, fishing and traveling.

She is survived by her husband Lawrence; daughter, Lori Loe; grandson, Blake Loe; great grandson, Atlas Loe of Olathe, KS; sister, Catherine L Borders; step siblings, Homer Dunn of Kansas City, MO;  Leona Boddy of Albany, OR; Patricia Narron of Albany, OR.

She is preceded in death by her sons, Ronald Korbel and Gregory Korbel; brothers, Elmer Seifert, Delbert Seifert and Stanley Seifert; sister, Mary Adams; step brother, Donald Dunn.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, August 14, at Ryan Mortuary, with Pastor Blaine Herron, as officiant.  Burial will follow in Gypsum Hill Cemetery.
