Norma L. Vickroy, 79, of Salina, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023.  She was born November 11, 1943, in Salina, to Edgar W. Carlson and Ruth E. (Brock) Dolezal.  She married John Vickroy, March 3, 1962.

She graduated from Salina High Central.

Norma is survived by: daughter, Debra Deiser (Ray); sons, Leslie Vickroy (Linda), and Mark Vickroy (Mechelli) all of Salina; grandchildren Stephan Shelton (Chelsea), Tasha Deiser of Salina, Nichole Wolf (Tyler) of Hays, Raymond Deiser (Molly) of Manhattan, KS, Megan Allotey (Leon) of England, Terry Vickroy of KC, and Stephanie Vickroy of Springfield, MO; great-grandchildren Kaylynn and Regan Shelton, Mason, Sylvie and Evalyn Wolf, Lillyann, Cora and Leland Deiser; one brother, William Carlson (Kathy) from Prescott, AZ and 2 sisters, Nancy Dorsey (Dan) from Sylvester, GA and Janice Munson from Salina KS.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Ryan Mortuary, with family receiving friends from 7 to 8.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, October 6, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with Father Kevin Weber as officiant, burial will follow in All Saints Catholic Cemetery.
