Pamela Jean Burns, 75, of Salina, Kansas, the daughter of Ellen I. (Brown) Burns and the late Loren V. Burns was born February 4, 1943 in Salina, Kansas. With loving family by her side Pamela went to be with the Lord on Wednesday May 3, 2018.
Pamela graduated from the North Central Kansas Area Vocational-Technical School with her Licensed Practical Nursing Degree in 1983. The focus of her career was in geriatrics. Pamela loved to read and watch the History Channel.
She was preceded in death by her father; Loren Burns, brother; Ronald Burns and sister; Constance Rudolph.
Survivors include her mother; Ellen I. (Brown) Burns of Salina, Kansas, children; Katrina (AJ) Hyman of Salina Kansas, Russell (Alena) Olson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jerry Lee (Lori) Olson of Eudora, Kansas, Pamela did acquire the guardianship of her Great-Niece Presley Wilson and raised her as her own; brother, Richard (Marleen) Burns of Salina, Kansas; sisters, Janice (Gene) Denton of Phoenix, Arizona, Sheryl Moore of Kodak Tennessee, and Doneal (William) Nichols of Salina, Kansas, 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday May 7, 2018 at Roselawn Heights Memorial Park, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina.
Family will gather at Ray Avenue Baptist Church, 2801 Ray Avenue, Salina, KS. Immediately following service.
