Parker Armstrong, 22, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023. He was born in Salina to Jeff and Kim (Montague) Armstrong.
Parker enjoyed robotics starting in high school and continuing with classes at Kansas State University, Salina where he was becoming a Robotics Engineer. He enjoyed working with his hands and created wood working and metal projects, both in and out of class. Dungeons and Dragons was a favorite hobby with close friends. He loved all things Star Wars, especially The Mandalorian. He also loved reading, writing stories, Greek Mythology, and Magic. Parker was an intellectual and loved the challenge of a debate. He was passionate about his thoughts and beliefs and had a huge heart. At home Parker liked to cook, creating his own recipes, and showing off his grill skills.
He was preceded by his grandparents, James and Paulette Armstrong; great-grandmother, Nellie Montague; and uncle, James Bryan (J.B.) Armstrong.
Parker is survived by his mother, Kim Armstrong of Salina; father, Jeff and Lorelei Armstrong of Hays; brother, Jacob Jones Armstrong of Salina; step-siblings, Gavin Gentry of Hays, Cassidy Gentry of Dumas, TX, Samuel Leedom of Hays; cousins, Amber and Josh Schindler , Kory and Reagan Gomez , Kason Gomez; aunt and uncle, Julie and Mike Gomez of Maple Hill; and grandfather, Bob Montague.
A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
