Patricia Camarena-Bishop was born February 24, 1959, in Salina, Kansas to Rudolph Camarena and Mary Camarena. She passed away on October 13th surrounded by her loved ones.

Patti was very well known for being a hard-working, independent, generous, and loving woman, mother and grandmother. She worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield for over 20 years and made lots of friends during her time there. After retirement, she spent her time at home with her animals that she loved so deeply and spent quality time with her family.

Survivors include her four siblings, Greg Camarena of Larned, Bob Camarena (Mary Kay) of Overland Park, Cathy Hadorn (David) of Salina and Maria Looney (Jeff) of Salina and her daughter Stacey Powell of Salina and her three grandchildren Alexis and Addison Powell of Salina and Andruw Bishop of Wichita.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph, and Mary Camarena; her sister, Linda Schumacher; her son CJ Bishop; her sister-in-law Joy L. Camarena; her nephew Christopher R. Camarena, son of Bob and Mary Kay Camarena.

A visitation will be held at Ryan Mortuary on Monday, October 23rd at 10:00 AM. Followed by the service at 11:00 AM.
