Patrick Jude O’Brien, 77, passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021. Pat was born in Wamego, KS. Sept. 14, 1943, the son of Larry and Leona (Umscheid) O’Brien. Pat graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1962. He served in the US Army with a tour of service in Viet Nam. Pat retired from USD #305 custodial services.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Tessa L. O’Brien and son, Lance Abrams, of the home; two brothers, Jim (Jo Ann), Harry (Norma), Salina and a sister, Jane (Robin) Spurrier, Wichita.

Pat is preceded by his parents, brothers, Kip and John O’Brien, sisters, Anita Siegel and Judy Dandurand.

Per Pat’s wishes, cremation was chosen and there will be no public services. Memorials may be made to Tammy Walker Cancer Center or Sacred Heart Catholic Cathedral, c/o Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
