Patty Lou (Predmore) Ouellette

Patty Lou (Predmore) Ouellette, age 86, entered into rest on, Monday, October 8, 2018 at the Cloud County Health Center, Concordia, Kansas. She was born September 30, 1932 in Aurora, Kansas to Carl and Reeta (Camp) Predmore.

Patty married Alamore H. Ouellette in November 28, 1953 at Concordia, Kansas. He preceded her in death on March 14, 1999.

She was a 1950 graduate of Concordia High School.

Patty received her Registered Nurses degree from Marymount College in Salina, Kansas. She was a ER Nurse at the St. Joseph Hospital for over 30 years retiring in 1995. They also had a family farm located 6 miles south of Ames, where they raised their family.

She was a past member of the St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Aurora, Kansas, St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph, Kansas and a member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde. Patty was also a member of the Altar Society, Red Hat society, Bible study group, and Possum Hollow CB Club.

She loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Patty enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, traveling, bingo, gambling, and going to auctions.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen Koehn (Larry), Park City, KS.; Karen Stefek (Tim), Ellsworth, KS.; Reeta McCumber (Keith), Salina, KS.; Marlin Ouellette (Jeanette), Concordia, KS.; Deneen Barnes (Greg), Clifton, KS.; Geri Bogart (Kenton), Concordia, KS.; a brother, Reynard Predmore (Wanda), Lincoln, NE.; 18 Grandchildren, 34 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, sister-in-law, Clementine Henry, Topeka, KS.; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Reeta Predmore, husband, Alamore Ouellette, 2 sons, Carl and Michael Ouellette, 2 sisters, Donna Faye and Lila Clark, 2 brothers, William D. Predmore, Duane Predmore.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 1:00 P.M.–8:00 P.M. with a Rosary Service held at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, evening at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia. Family will receive friends after the Rosary Service.

Mass of a Christian burial will be held 10:00 A.M., on Monday, October 15, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph, Kansas with Fr. Steven Heina officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, St. Joseph, Kansas.
