Paula Marie Scott, 74, passed away on July 10, 2021. She was born in Perry, Oklahoma on December 12, 1946 to the late Glen McNeal and Pauline Scott.
Paula spent her childhood in Perry until moving to Phoenix, Arizona. There she met the love of her life, Ronald Scott in December 1964. Paula and Ron were married September 12, 1966 and celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary.
When asked what Paula did for a living, she would often reply she was a Domestic Engineer or jack of all trades. Paula’s most passionate job was working at the National Greyhound Hall of Fame in Abilene, Kansas where she discovered her love of Greyhounds. Paula was involved with helping retired greyhounds find their forever homes.
Paula is survived by her husband, Ronald Scott; her children, Merta Scott Hall and spouse, Keith Hall, Warren Scott, and Daelyne Leschuk; her grandchildren, Derek Litke and spouse, Hannah Litke, Tyler Kemp and spouse, Victoria Kemp, Jaden Litke, Chela Scott and Emily Litke; one great-grandchild, Pearl Kemp; one brother, Vince Edmondson; and sister, Glenna McNeal.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Glen McNeal and Pauline Scott; and sister, Rhonda Meyer.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Ryan Mortuary, 137 North Eighth Street, Salina, Kansas 67401.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Ryan Mortuary.
