Peggy L. Piper, 82, died Dec. 31, 2019. She was born August 7, 1937 in Salina, the daughter of William, Sr. and Minnie (Dorman) Hoeffner. Peggy married Robert Piper, Sr. on June 8, 1956 in Salina and was a Realtor for the last 43 years. She was still an active sales associate at the time of her death with Coldwell Banker Antrim-Piper Wenger Realtors. She was a member of the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce, Salina Chamber Farm Show, Salina Board of Realtors, Toys from the Heart, Salina Crippled Children Bingo, the American Business Women’s Assn and enjoyed delivering for Meals on Wheels.

Survivors include her beloved companion of 20 years, Jack Boller; son, Robert (Deedra) Piper, Jr.; daughters, Rhonda (John) Tinkler and Roxanne Piper and stepdaughter, Tammy (Ernie) Duvall.

Her sister is Helen Leister (Kenny Meyer); brother, William (Evie) Hoeffner; seven grandchildren, Caleb, Paige, Robbie, Tristan, Dariane, Natalie and Ryan; three great grandchildren, Payton, Hailey and Jackson and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am Monday, January 6, 2020 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cathedral, Salina. Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Vigil services will be held 6:00 pm Sunday evening January 5, 2020 at the Ryan Mortuary where the family will receive friends from 4 until 6:00 pm.
