Ray (Raymond) Eugene Deiser left this earthly world on July 5th, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Ray was born in Hill City, Kansas on the 16th of September, 1960. After graduating from Ellsworth High School, he proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years.
Ray dedicated many years of service to the Girl Scouts and St. Mary’s parish. He regularly donated blood and platelets to the Red Cross. Over the years, Ray gave many hours of his time to various charities and organizations, most recently the Smoky Hill River Festival. He worked for Exide Manufacturing for many years before switching to REPCO for the remaining years of his life.
Ray is remembered for his incredibly kind heart. He was the type of person who would do anything for anyone. His positive outlook on life and his generosity of spirit touched the lives of many.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents Bill Deiser, Jack McCue, and Ruby Deiser; his brother Ben Deiser, brother-in-law Donny Stone, and sister-in-law Ginny Deiser.
Ray is survived by his beloved wife, Debra (Vickroy), his five children and eight grandchildren: Nichole (Tyler) Wolf- Mason, Sylvie, Evalyn; Megan (Leon) Allotey; Stephan (Chelsea) Shelton- Kaylynn, Regan; Raymond II (Molly) Deiser- Lillyann, Leland, Cora; Tasha Deiser. He is also survived by his stepmother Shirley Deiser and his siblings Darlene Deiser, Sue Stone, and Tim Deiser.
Visitation will be at Ryan Mortuary, located at 137 N 8th St. in Salina, Ks, from 5 – 8 p.m. on July 10th, 2024. Rosary to be said at 7 p.m.
Funeral Services will be at St. Mary Queen of the Universe, located at 230 E. Cloud St., in Salina, Ks, on July 11th, 2024 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, located at 3350 E. Crawford St., in Salina, Ks.
