Rev. Dr. Robert G. Minshall, 90, of Salina, joined the Lord Friday, Aug. 31, 2018. Bob was born Dec. 6, 1927, on a farm near Spickard, Mo., the only child of Howard and Hallie (Glore) Minshall. He was raised in Quincy, Ill. Bob married his high school sweetheart, Ann Keim, in 1950. From this union was born two children.

Bob served the Lord faithfully for 52 years. During that time, he pastored churches in Bonner Springs, Dallas, Texas, Warsaw, Mo., as well as almost 14 years at First Christian Church, 8th and Walnut, in Salina. While in Salina, Bob served as guidance counselor for the Brookville School District one day a week. He retired after 16 years in the Air Force Reserves and one-year active duty as a major. He served the Lord in many other capacities into his late 80s.

Bob is survived by: his loving wife of 68 years, Ann; daughter, Pam Jones (Bob) of Salina; son, Robert M. Minshall of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; and grandson, Steven Jones.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina, with family present 6-7:30.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, at First Covenant Church, Salina, with burial in Gypsum Hill Cemetery.
