Rex Trow, of Salina, Kansas, passed away March 22, 2025, at the age of 75.
Rex was born to George Edward (Ed) Trow Jr. and Mabel (Howe) Trow on Nov. 2, 1949. Rex attended Oakdale Grade School and Bennington High School.
Rex served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War in 1969-70. Specifically, Rex served in the Third Battalion, Eighth Infantry Regiment, which was also known as the “Fighting Dragoons.”
Rex married Terry Trow, and they had two children together, Timothy Trow and Michelle Trow. Rex worked for many years at the Western Auto Warehouse in Salina.
Rex, a longtime Salina resident, was a Shriner at the Masonic Temple. He collected toy cars and loved to cook, especially goulash.
Rex was preceded in death by his wife, Terry Trow; his parents, Ed and Mabel Trow; and his siblings, Dennis (Denny) Trow and Connie Beets.
Rex is survived by his children, Timothy Trow and Michelle Trow; his grandchildren, Mark Trow and Mekenzie Wise; his siblings, Rita Rose, Charlotte Weis, and Guy Trow; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday, March 28, 2025, 1:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Salina, KS, with Pastor Josh Kilsch officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Salina, KS. Memorial donations may be made to Salina Grace; 304 W Grand Ave., Salina, KS 67401.
