Rhoda Corene Myers, 76, of Wichita, KS, passed away at 1:10 a.m., Thursday, July 4th, 2019 peacefully, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita, Ks.

Rhoda was born in Salina, Kansas on July 20, 1942, a daughter of Cora Louisia (Lehman) and George Claire Stewart, Sr.

Rhoda was an active member of Sunnyside Baptist Church, Wichita, Kansas.

Rhoda was a elementary school teacher for USD 259, Wichita, Kansas.

Rhoda was a member of KPERS.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Janis Sigle and husband Larry, of McPherson, Kansas, Verlyn Uhrig and wife Sandy, of Marion, Kansas, Phyllis Scherich and husband Larry, of McPherson, Kansas, Myrla Walkley, of Wichita, Kansas, Dwayne Uhrig and wife Donna, of Republic, Missouri, Brenda Wilson and husband Royce, of Harrisonville, Missouri, Angela Lewis and husband Monty, of San Marcus, Texas, Gayla Slaugenhop and husband Jamie, of Vernon, Texas, and Audrey Sims, of Wichita Falls, Texas; two

foster daughters, JaNet Givens, of Wichita, Kansas and Gerri Boettcher and husband Hank of Texas; many great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Rhoda was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Graveside gathering at Wichita Park Cemetery, Old Mission at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 11th, 2019.
