Rita Jean Freeman, 73, of Salina, passed away Monday, May 18, 2020. She was born March 12, 1947 in Salina.

She worked as a Cook for CKF for over 10 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Alice (Slay) Bellinger; sister, Viola Slay; brothers, Duane Bellinger, Gregory Bellinger, Yvette Brown; grandson, Earnest Skillern IV.

Survivors include her step father, Issac Slay Sr; children, Alicia (Slay) Skillern, Jackie Slay, Christopher Freeman; brother, Issac Slay Jr.; sisters, Brenda Slay, Margaret Ann Parker, Valerie Bailey; grandchildren, Alyse Skillern, Jazmine Skillern, Alexis Skillern, James Smith, Jaquelyn Slay, Tacita Slay, Shaquille Slay; great grandchildren, Anothy Skillern, Azriel Brown, Khalil Slay, Destin Tillett, London Tillett, Roman Smith, Pheonix Smith, Ava Smith, Sophia Smith; and countless nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Friday, June 12, 2020 at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina.
