Funeral services for Robert E. “Robbie” Bottorff, age 50, of Abilene, will be 1:30 pm Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church in Abilene with Reverend John Collins officiating. Mr. Bottorff passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 at the Salina Regional Health Center in Salina.

Robbie was born January 2, 1969 in Abilene, the son of Robert Michael “Mike” and Barbara Jean (Sherraden) Bottorff. He graduated from Manhattan High School in 1989. He had been with OCCK for over 20 years working for the Eisenhower Center, Land Pride, and for the Abilene Recycle Center.

Robbie is survived by his mother Barbara Jean of Abilene, uncle Jim Bottorff of Abilene, and aunt Patty Bottorff of Topeka. He was preceded in death by his father Mike Bottorff on October 13, 1972.

Cremation is planned. Robbie’s final resting place will be in the Prairie Mound Cemetery near Solomon. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm Friday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Dickinson County Foundation and may be sent in care of the Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home, 414 NW 3rd, Abilene, Kansas 67410.
