Robert M. Peterson, 94, of Salina, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022 at Salina Regional Health Center. He was born March 14, 1928 in Salina, Kansas to the late Amos and Ruth Peterson. He was a Navy Veteran and served for four years during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and VFW Post #1432.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and daughter in law, Arlene.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley, of the home; son Solomon “Frank” Peterson (Julie), of Charlotte, NC; Terrell “Terry” Peterson, of St. Louis; grandchildren, Keenan and Trent Henderson, of TN, Carly and Kevin Hutchins of CA, Samantha Peterson and Andrew Peterson, both of St. Louis; great-granddaughter, Jersey and Indie Grey Henderson; sister, Betty Pihl (Don), of Lindsborg, KS; special friend, Norma Hammett, of Meridian, ID.

Cremation has been chosen. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
