Roger L. Shrole Jr., 82, of Salina, passed away Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018. He was born Aug. 6, 1936, in Joplin, Mo., to Roger and Alvina Patricia (Hamm) Shrole.

Roger moved to Salina in 1950 and graduated from Salina High School in 1954. He worked as a drywall finisher for 35 years, then went to work for Power-Vac assembling signs before retiring in 2004. In his free time, Roger loved hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Diane.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Shirley (Crawford); daughter, Debra, of Texas; son, Scott, of Salina; grandchildren, Kendra and Scotty; and great-grandchildren, Connor and Ryker.
