Ronald Gene Wenger, 76, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Friday, May 24th, 2019.

Ronald was born in Hays, Kansas on November 16, 1942, a son of the late Eleanor (Weigel) and Lawrence Wenger.

On January 25, 1964, Ronald married Karen Fick in Abilene, Kansas.

Survivors include his wife, Karen; daughter, Sheila Schaut, (Brent Spellman), of Salina, Kansas;
three sons, Daniel Wenger, (Sandy), of Aurora, Colorado; Darrell Wenger, (Tonna), of Salina, Kansas; Steven Wenger, of Salina, Kansas; sisters, Ella Stroede, of Ellsworth, KS, Dalinda Hernandez, (Mike), of Ulysses, Kansas; brothers, Donald Wenger, (Maria), of Clarksville, Tennessee, Dee Wenger, of Lincoln, Kansas; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and special friend, Bob Schaut, of Salina, Kansas.

He is preceded in death by sister, Alta Stormont; and brothers, Lawrence E. Wenger Jr., Earl A. Wenger and special pet, Roxie.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Friday, May 31, 2019, at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, with family present from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Russell.
