Ronald Richard Tremblay, 87, of Salina, KS, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024. He was born on January 30, 1937, in Goffstown, NH, to Rene and Cecile (Beliveau) Tremblay.
Ron enlisted in the Air Force in 1955 and was honorably discharged in 1959. He worked for many years as a City of Salina building official and later as an investigator for the Kansas Lottery. He was a past secretary/treasurer of the Quivera Gun Club, Patron Life Member of the NRA, Life Member of the KS State Rifle Association, and a member of the Central KS Amateur Radio Club, Red Baron Chapter of AMBUCS, and Single Action Shooting Society.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Leonard Tremblay and Norman Tremblay. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Kathleen (Breer) Tremblay; sister-in-law, Janet Tremblay; nephews, Randy, Ryan, and Rick; and niece, Rene.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 13, with a rosary at 9:40 a.m., and Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., all at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina, with burial to follow in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Salina.
Memorials may be made to a charity of donor’s choice, care of Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
