Ronald Zene “Ron” Howell, Jr., 65 of Salina, passed away
Thursday,January 11, 2018. He was born March 10, 1952, in Pratt, the
son of Ronald Zene,Sr. and Alice Rose (Fankhauser) Howell. Ron worked
for many years at SalinaReginal Health Center as a Radiology
Technologist until his retirement in April2017. Ron enjoyed his time
with family especially at the lake on his boat.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Zene Howell,Sr.
Ron is survived by his wife, Becky Howell, of Salina;daughters,
Rosanne Howell (Ed Miller), Rhonda Howell, and Bridgette Tinsley(Ian),
all of Salina; grandchildren, Brayden Howell, Dakotah Howell,
DonteMiller, Makinzy Howell, and Xavier Tinsley, all of Salina;
mother, Alice RoseHowell (Donald “Skeet” Clemensen), of Haviland;
sister, Ann Bartlett, ofManhattan; brother, Bob Howell, of Wichita;
nieces and nephews, Amanda andJerimy Howell and Alicia and Brett
Bartlett.
Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday,January 17,
2018, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina. Gravesideservices
will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 18, 2018, in the
HavilandCemetery, Haviland, KS. Memorial contributions may be given to
Hospice ofSalina or Haviland United Methodist Church, in care of the
