Shirley Ann Burt, 84, passed away on January 15th, 2024. She was born on January 14th, 1940, in Coldwater, KS to Jacob and Daisy Pierce.

She worked for many years in the restaurant industry and finished her working career as a lead at Tony’s Pizza Service, where she retired.

Shirley enjoyed her many trips to Las Vegas gambling with her friends, and Monday night poker with the girls at her house. She loved camping, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Georgia Pierce, Bobby Pierce, Carl Pierce, Helen Long, Leota Lowery, and Kay Myers. Husband Robert Burt, daughter Kimberly Rogers, stepson Marty Walton, stepdaughter Rita Johnson, grandson Willie Giersch, and loving companion Billy Booe.

She is survived by her son Kevin (Kris) Rogers, stepchildren Amy (Chris) Rundell, Vanda (Randy) Neely, and Dale Walton Sr. Grandchildren, Jacob & Kaleb Rogers and Cyler, Cavin & Caysn Rundell. Sister, Leola Snyder and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place Saturday January 27th at 10 am with visitation an hour prior at Ryan Mortuary, Salina, KS. Burial to follow at Gypsum Hill Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Kansas Honor Flight, 401 W. 1st Avenue, Hutchinson, KS 67501 or in care of the mortuary.
