Telsey Lynn Marie Dennison, 18, died Saturday, July 23, 2022, at her home with her family by her side. Telsey was born August 5, 2003, in Houston, TX. She spent most of her life in Salina. Telsey attended school at USD 305 where she received her diploma in May of 2022 from Salina South High. She was apart of the USD 305 Adult Transitions program. At Transitions, Telsey loved learning to cook in the kitchen, work on finances, house cleaning and many other activities to help her in the future.

Outside of school, Telsey loved meeting new people and always welcomed them with a smile and hug. She loved going on adventures with her family; whether she was bowling, swimming, gambling or riding the ”Mamba” at Worlds of Fun, Telsey always enjoyed herself with the biggest smile on her face.

Telsey is survived by her parents, Jamey and Dawn Dennison; her biological mother, Kim Horton, Trinity, TX; brother, Zakree Lindsey (Sierrah Neal); brother, Dakota Hitchcock (Leslie); sister, Taylor Parson; grandmother, Nana Teresa Dennison and grandparents, Wally Hitchcock and Terri Levin and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her niece, Stella Hitchcock and grandfather, Walter Horton.

Telsey will forever be remembered for her beautiful, strong, loving personality and most of all, her giving heart.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, July 26 at the Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Friends may call on Monday from 4 until 8 pm at the Ryan Mortuary where family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jamey and Dawn Dennison in care of Telsey.
