Thelda Jean Smedley, 97, of Salina, passed away, Friday, January 19, 2018. She was born April 2, 1920 in Burlington Colorado.

She owned Smedley’s market, and worked as a grocer for 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Edna (Stephens) Pilcher; husband, Keith W. (Smoke) Smedley; 1 sister and 1 niece.

Survivors include her “chosen children”, Steve and Rosie Moody; niece Joann Mitchel; good friend, Virginia Racobs.

Funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park.
