Thomas William Miller, 77, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, December 14th, 2022.
Tom was born in Salina, Kansas on September 4, 1945, a son of the late Inez (DeMars) and Leonard William Miller.
Tom served in the United States Navy aboard the carriers USS Hornet and Hancock for 4 years. During his time on the Hornet, he participated in the recovery of the Apollo 11 and 12 lunar modules.
He owned Tom Miller Painting and Papering and “Tommy” was a long time member of the Salina Elks Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Nan (Luce) Miller; two sons, Ross Miller (Megan), of Salina, Kansas, Drew Miller (Whitney Gebhart-Miller), of Loveland, Colorado; and 7 grandchildren, Maci, Madison, Caden, Jackson, Kyle, Lily, and Kane.
Tom is also survived by his brother, Richard “Dick” Miller (Sharalena), of Nashville, Tennessee.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 21st at Carlson – Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina.
