Todd Lewis Wedgewood, 45, passed away, Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at his home in Salina, surrounded by family.
Todd was born January 6, 1977 in Aurora, Colorado, to Ralph and Wanda Wedgewood. He had the brightest smile and could wrap his doting grandparents and parents around his little finger.
Todd started school in Aurora, then moved with his family to Warrensburg, Missouri, finally moving to Salina, Kansas in 1994, graduating from Salina Central High School in 1995. Todd met the love of his life, Tamera, shortly after. Todd and Tamera had 23 wonderful years together and have two beautiful daughters, Madison and Riley.
Todd worked at Exide/Stryten for 24 years. He made many wonderful friends and was highly respected by all those who knew and worked with him.
Todd loved his family vacations to Colorado, teaching his girls about fishing and pushing their limits whitewater rafting, ziplining, and every exciting thing he could share with his family.
Todd is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lyman and Vergene Bailey and his paternal grandfather, Ralph Wedgewood, Sr. He leaves behind to carry on his legacy, his wife Tamera; daughters, Madison and Riley; his parents, Ralph and Wanda; his grandmother, Frances Wedgewood, and many, many numerous friends, aunts, uncles, cousins, and neighbors.
Todd was so strong, fighting cancer for the past two years and never giving up. He was a loving, dedicated, strong, caring husband, father, son, and friend.
Cremation has been chosen.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home & Crematory.
