Trenton Andrew Yianakopulos, 19, of Gore, Oklahoma, passed away, Thursday, June 27th, 2019 suddenly at his home.

Trenton was born in McPherson, Kansas on April 29, 2000, a son of Betty (Guffey) Laney and Larry Yianakopulos, Jr..

Trenton attended his elementary, middle school and high school years in Kansas, Texas and Oklahoma.

He was of Christian faith and attended the Baptist Church.

He Bus Boy Trenton was employed at Ristorante Italiano in McPherson, Kansas..

Trenton enjoyed art, drawing, collecting rocks and knives, photography, loved being outdoors, camping, his favorite time of the year was the 4th of July and he loved spending time at the lake with his friends and family.

He is survived by his parents Larry Yianakopulos, Jr. and his wife Debbie, of Baton Rouge Louisiana and Betty Laney and her husband Josh, of Gore, Oklahoma; his paternal grandparents Larry & Sandy Yianakopulos, Sr., of McPherson, Kansas; maternal grandparents John & Kay Guffey, of McPherson, Kansas and his great-grandmother Virginia Yianakopulos, of McPherson, Kansas; many aunts and uncles, other relatives and a host of friends.

Trenton was preceded in death by his great-grandfather Nick Yianakopulos.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Glidden – Ediger Chapel, McPherson, Kansas.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church, McPherson, Kansas, with Pastor Travis McIntosh officiating.

Burial will be at the McPherson Cemetery McPherson, Kansas.
