Victor James “Coyote” “Jim” Wolfe, 64, passed away July 11, 2022, in Salina, Kansas. He was born February 2, 1958, at Asbury Hospital in Salina, Kansas.
Jim graduated from Waconda East High School in 1976 and lived in Beloit, Kansas from 1981 – 1989. He moved to Salina in 1989. He was passionate about Demo Derby’s, motorcycles, was a car enthusiast and attempted automotive repairs. Narcotics Anonymous was an important part of his life, where he was member for many years and became a sponsor, where he had countless friends. Jim enjoyed hunting with friends and his sons-in-law. While hunting, he even shot his truck and sometimes he shot deer.
Jim worked at Farmway COOP, as a welder at Great Plains, El Dorado, and Midland Muffler. He also mowed lawns for many people around Salina.
Survivors include his ex-wife of 30 years, Laurie Wolfe; they were blessed with 2 daughters, Natasha Gawith (Grant) and Shawna Gordon (Derrick); 4 granddaughters, Kailee, Alexis, Hendrix, Paisley; 1 grandson, Daygen; 2 dogs, Chief and Tina; numerous nieces and nephews; 4 brothers; 5 sisters; including foster siblings; and his mother, Lucille Wolfe.
He is preceded in death by his father, Victor J. Wolfe; foster parents, Vernon Peckham, Bonnie Rathbun, Ray and Neva Howland.
Cremation has been chosen.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 22, 2022, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm, at the Friendship Center, 745 Commanche Ave, Salina.
Private burial will take place at a later date.
