Wilda J. Hustus, 84 of Salina, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021. She was born March 11, 1937, in Alcona Township, Rooks County, Kansas.
Wilda worked as a bookkeeper for years at various businesses in the Salina area.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis C., and Bertha A. (Stewart) Cook, her husband, Alfred Hustus, his brother, Lloyd Cook, a sister, Leona Kellogg, and a nephew, Wendell Kellogg.
Survivors include her children, Michael (Emelia) Hustus of Bremerton, WA, Brenda (Steve) Ward of Salina and Ronald (Debbie) Hustus of Gypsum, 4 grandchildren, Nichole Bowden, Eric Ward, Andrew Ward and Jessica Hustus, 2 great grandchildren, Camryn Bowden, and Kylee Bowden and 1 great-great grandchild, Bella Hyden.
Wilda will always be remembered for the sound of her beautiful voice. One of Wilda’s passions was her love of singing, whether it be with the Church choir or the years she sang with the Sweet Adelines Chorus. Her beautiful voice was always to be heard.
A memorial service will be held 11:00am, Saturday, August 7, at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 901 E. Neal, Salina.
