Wilma June “Willie” Wohler, 87, passed away on Thursday, July 11th at Reflections Retirement Resort in Salina, Kansas.
Wilma was born on June 15th, 1937 in Rural Severy, Kansas to June Elizabeth Wade.
Wilma worked at Tony’s Pizza in Salina, Kansas, where she eventually retired and began running her County Line Kennel for approximately 10 years in rural Saline County near Glendale, Kansas.
Some of Wilma’s hobbies were gardening, spending time outdoors, and caring for all birds. She loved flowers and being in her yard. She also loved dogs, especially Yorkies.
Wilma enjoyed going to church when she could and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Salina. One of Wilma’s favorite sayings was, “Smile til you’re happy and keep it up.”
Wilma is survived by her sisters, JoAnn Unruh, Sheryl Smoot, Shirley Boulanger, and Debbie Magvire; brother, Jim Bowen; sons, Leonard Donaldson (Gayla) of Assaria, Kansas, and Clint Donaldson (Shelley) of Kansas City, Missouri; and daughter, Tami Jensen of Brookville, Kansas. Wilma is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.
Wilma is preceded in death by her infant son, Kyle; mother, June Elizabeth Wade; daughter, Dallas Riedel; and sister, Sue.
A celebration of life will be held August 10th at 11:00 AM at Grace Baptist Church in Salina, Kansas.
