Independent candidate for Governor Greg Orman is losing a key member of his campaign in the final days before the midterm election.

Orman campaign treasurer Tim Owens announced yesterday that he is stepping down and throwing his support behind Democratic candidate for Governor Laura Kelly.

Owens says he is leaving Orman’s campaign to unite behind Kelly and stop Republican candidate Kris Kobach.
