A pilot is dead following a plane crash in Kansas.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says 71-year-old Steven Stucky died after the plane he was piloting crashed near Topeka on Saturday morning.

Investigators say Stucky’s plane stalled, flipped and dove nose-first into the ground.

The deadly plane crash is under investigation.
