Officials are investigating after a small plane wa forced to make an emergency landing.

The aircraft landed safely in a field near Wichita, at Woodlawn and 101st Street, about 4:00 Sunday afternoon. No one was hurt in the incident.

Officials believe the plane ran out of fuel.
