Salina Police will be out in force tomorrow night, specifically looking for drunk drivers.
Police Lt. Russ Lamer says a special saturation patrol is planned for Friday into Saturday.
Four additional officers and a supervisor will be on duty. The officers will be on patrol from 11:00 Friday night through 3:00 Saturday morning.
According to Lamer the officers will not concentrate on one area of town, but instead will spread out throughout Salina.
The overtime hours are being funded through an Impaired Driver Deterrence Program grant administered through the Kansas Department of Transportation.
