An employee at a Salina women’s apparel store is arrested on theft charges.

Police arrested 39-year-old Amy Williams of Salina after she allegedly created 11 fake refunds at Cato Fashions in the Central Mall and kept the $1,200 for herself.

Store management contacted authorities after an audit that looked at her activity between January 12th and January 26th.

Police also allege Williams took $400 in merchandise from the store which has been recovered. She is now facing forgery and theft charges in the case.
