Police Seek Suspect in Tuesday Robbery

An armed man holds up a clerk at a Salina convenience store.

According to Captain Mike Sweeney, at about 12:20am Tuesday morning a white male with a slim build walked into Casey’s at 500 North Ohio – flashed a silver pistol and demanded that the clerk hand over the money inside the register.

The robber left the store on foot with a blue bandana over his face, and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police did not find the suspect after officers searched the area.

Police continue to look for a white male in his late teens or early twenties. He is described as 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-10 inches tall, wearing a gray hoodie, yellow cargo pants and carrying a camouflage bag.
