Police terminate a pursuit yesterday after chasing a motorcyclist near the hospital.

Around 12:45pm Wednesday afternoon, an officer on patrol spotted a rider on a blue motorcycle without a tag while going east bound on Prescott.

A high speed chase began when the rider refused to stop and accelerated through the Salina Regional Health Center’s parking plaza.

A police unit broke off the chase a short time later for safety concerns after the motorcycle cut through the lot at Casey’s on the corner of S. 9th and Crawford.

There were no injuries reported.
