A suspected homicide at a Kansas prison is under investigation.

Forty-year-old Brooks Vonthaer was found unresponsive in his cell at the El Dorado Correctional Facility on Tuesday and later died.

Investigators say Vontraer suffered multiple fatal injuries, and a 34-year-old cellmate of Vonthaer has been identified as a suspect in the case.
