Police are investigating a reported rape on the Wichita State University campus.

A student was sexually assaulted at The Flats apartments on campus December 2nd. The incident was not reported to police until six days later.

Authorities say the victim is a student and the suspect does not attend the university.

Police say the rape report is being prepared to be sent to the Sedgwick County District Attorney for possible charges.
