Festival fans will be crossing the bridge into Oakdale Park just 119 days from now.
Brad Anderson the Executive Director of Salina Arts and Humanities admits he keeps a running countdown in his head as he joined in on the KSAL Morning News on Friday.
“A majority of the entertainment has been selected the art shows are going to be juried here in the next couple weeks,” he said.
Anderson added that one art installation that has graced Oakdale Park for years is going to have a makeover for 2016.
“We are retiring the Lone Ranger by Steve Britt and we have a Facebook challenge going on with two different new designs.”
Anderson explained that artist Steve Britt has created two new panels for fans to select from.
One is a new take on the Lone Ranger theme, the other a retro space adventure.
